so I put myself on here cause you guys look like a good group of people. I bought a 1986 Scottsdale ten with only 47000 original miles. I am 14 and want to build this up a little bit. I have a few questions though, my 700r4 trans is shifting into overdrive to early. Like at 30 mph or so. Also why is my truck not starting well it like wants to start but you have to hit the throttle to get it ti start when it is semi warm when it's cold you just choke it and it starts fine. Hope my questions will get answered. Also I have a cub cadet 127 garden tractor and ai also have a farm all h a John Deere 110 and a ford tractor.

Welcome. I can't answer your trans question, but regarding the hard starts, what are you calling semi warm? I always have to give mine a pump or 2 in the mornings to get her going even if it's 80 degrees. Post up some pictures of your truck, as well as that H model. I used to be I to antique tractor pulls.

Your detent/TV cable needs adjusting, it controls pressure in your tranny/shift points.

Yes I do pull with it. This year I. July I pulled 5250 with it and I was super happy. It did good
