Its gouges in the metal. Im not sure how something would tear like that? Whatever it is it sucks, but yeah il have to do what you said davbell.

Is it possible to get the metal straight again and just weld the cracks shut?? Might be a tad stronger than epoxy but not sure. Has your dad looked at it yet?

Dont use that Bondo body filler. That stuff doesnt hold up to moisture like epoxy does.

Body filler should only be used to smooth out the metal anyway. Not to fill holes or gouges like that.

@ the roof - Yikes!!

@ the bad tire - How did it rip apart, was it damaged or did it just come apart? That would make me want to sell the other 3 on ebay and just get a new set of 4 good tires.

Let's see what ya got under the hood.

Crap, First smash lips down there even with the rest of it. Then use epoxy to fill the crack on the out and inside of the cab. Then when it dries sand it out nice and smooth and prime it.
The roof is double layered, so he won't be able to access under the outside layer unless he cut's the inside layer to get to it.

That's true! Forgot about that so I'd say the best bet is to break out the welder then smooth it down. that should fix it right up pretty quickly.

Oh, and the previous owner said he ran it flat and it shredded it apart like that. Il snap a picture under the hood, nothing fancy just a 350.

Being a body guy I'm sure he'll have some good ideas of the best way to fix the issue. :waytogo: Definitely a strange one :)

Nice AC Compressor, lol. You'll get better mileage without it, just use the 2/60 AC buddy. :High 5:

I believe what you're seeing is the heater box, right?
