I have never done one of these things before, but my wife said I should try it since I don't know anybody that knows about fixing trucks to ask. I'm rewiring my truck, I bought an American Autowire power plus 13 wiring harness and have most of it done, but I'm having trouble with the gas gauge wire. There's one tan wire for the gas gauge, but I have duel tanks. Could someone help me with this? Plus the switch in the dashboard had a pink wire that went to the old fuse box, I'd think there'd be a wire going to the switch to replace the Pink one, but there isn't. I don't even understand how the switch works, it has four wires that run to a plug in the firewall and come out the other side and head to the tanks, but only two plug into the posts on the sending units, the other two are just dangling over the frame. I don't know what they go to. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Oh yeah, I guess I forgot that stuff. It's a 78 GMC K 15 with a 350. There's a long story behind it but it has a new create engine in it but has been sitting for the last five years. I got it this past winter and have been working on it when I can find spare time.

Always good to see another 78, mine is a 78 long bed c10 with a 350 so I'm partial to the year lol. Good look with the wiring, I know the guys and gals here will help you out.
