Name is Nick and I am building a 1980 GMC C15 2WD LB (will be converting to a SB) originally equipped with a diesel engine and will be powered by a 5.3 lm7. The truck is completey torn down and only have cab sitting on rolling frame. I finished up the body work of cab and the frame cab mounts, the front frame cab mounts were in much worse shape than rear. The modifications that i did to frame mounts now will not allow one of the front body cab mounts to line up and am off about 1.5 inch.
I am looking for the following:

1. I need to know if there are some diagonal dimensions from fender cowl mount holes to radiator support holes that i could use as a baseline to square cab up so i could hog out holes in the front frame cab mounts.
2. Dimensions from outer rocker panel to center of cab mounts on all four corners.

Any other help woul be greatly appreciated.

Any chance you’ve attempted loosening the other bolts off before installing them by hand or possibly double checking the mounting hardware/mounts for proper configuration?

The way I have always set my cabs, is measure from the fender mounting tab on the cab (the one on the bottom part of the cab) and go across to the front opposite side frame horn.
