In 1986 wile stationed at Maguire AFB in New Jersey, I purchased my Chevy K10. I ran it for 15 years and then parked it for a few years. In 2006 I began to restore it. It was in good shape so I cleaned and painted the chassis, serviced the axles, put a flat bed on it and set it up for plowing. With a edelbrock carb and MSD distributor to replace the troublesome spark control computer it has bean reliable since. Last year I decided to put it back on the road so it is going through a final restoration before hitting the road. I was a member of the Dodge Cummins forum for many yeas for my current truck and found it very helpful when problems pop up since I do as much work as I can myself. I expect this forum will help me keep my K10 going for many years to come.
