lately I have been really liking the early to mid 2000's GMC full cabs and Avalanches. I really like the bubble eye 2000 Chevy more than the cat eye mid 2000's Chevy's. I like how GMC kept the "bubble eye" style through the aughts. Don't get me wrong, I would enjoy a good cat eye Chevy truck even though it is less favorable(looked at buying one recently and posted on here about it but didn't). For some reason the Avalanche has really grown on me over the last 5 years. They look cool even with the cat eye style. They are versatile. The way you can open up the rear window/seat for more bed space is really cool, and I don't think most people know you can. Also, I know a few folks that have towed horses for years with their Avalanches. Good score, cool truck. The Avalanche is under rated but also is making a comeback in a big way. Lots of folks getting them and refurbishing them well lately.

Yep. My goal for a daily in the next 3 to 5 is a full cab GMC mid 2000's or a Chevy Avalanche full cab that will replace my current family SUV Honda C-RV. Post up some more pics of your new rig @Turbo4whl , Wayne.

Avalanche's have never been my cup of tea but when they're set up properly, they can look killer (lowere or leveled/lifted with a good wheel/tire and some color matching). You should also consider the SUVs. The Avalanche is basically just a Tahoe/Burb with the top cut off. I've had 2 GMT800 SUVs and they were fantastic. Both short wheelbase Tahoe/Yukons, the Tahoe got totaled but the Yukon got a 4/4 drop with bigger sway bars, big brake upgrade (from the '05-up pickups), GMT900 polished 20s with some 265/50 Toys and it rode/handled amazing. Easily one of my favorite vehicles. And I worked it hard too, I loaded all kinds of stuff in that thing. It was nice having the cargo area covered. I traded it to a buddy years ago who still has it and still loves it. The cool thing about the GMCs too is you can upgrade them to Denali headlights and a retrofit kit is easy to get modern quality lighting
