Hello everyone, long time Bow tie fan and owner here. Previous owner of multiple Square Body's with last and current being K30 rigs.
Current is a unicorn to me, an 86 K30 3+3, purchased as new in 86, by a Virginia FD. They loved her tenderly until last year when she was sold by the department.
Driveline is a 7.4 / SM465 / NP205 / D60 and 14 bolt and there's not a leak to be found.
Truck also has a CM Industries SS flatbed.
The interesting thing is condition, as it's in great shape, but she should be as there are 34,000 verified miles on the truck.
It's like a time machine and she literally drives like a year old truck.
My immediate plans have found me sourcing an 8" OffRoadDesign suspension and I got 15x38x20 MTZ'S with 20x10 Trailready HD beadlocks. All the suspension pieces are days away in a brown truck and we should have her up and running in a couple weeks or so.
I'm enjoying the forum as usual and now that the last 15 "no square body" years are behind me, I'm looking forward to becoming a more frequent member, navigating this great board.
