Hankook is a good tire. Car and truck.

My K5 has Hankook DynaPro MT's on it and they have been a great tire. Haven't driven it in years though, but they do still hold air, lol.

And they are white letters out too.

I put a set of treadwrights retreads on my dually. nice mud tread, but have ats too. had an issue with one tire, sent them a couple pics in an email, next thing I know, new tire at my door. no questions, no bs, just well take care of it for you. good people, and seem to be good tires.

Depends on what stores are near you. As for me I get the best deals at Costco (which have some sort of discount/promotion pretty much every month) or at Discount Tire. Discount Tire has pretty good prices and even better if you wait for pretty much any holiday. Then they have good sales.
Also you can compare Discount Tire to Discount Tire Direct (their online store). Sometimes the online store is cheaper. And if that is the case they have free shipping.

Personally I have the same set of tires on my 74 at 265/75/16 and they are the best tires I've bought and well worth the money. That being said, cheap tires are okay for me too. I've gotten used sets and brand new Walmart specials and have never had tread split or a flat from anything less then a screw/nail ect.

You can get good deals on tires at Walmart, but you have to shop for them and DON"T WAIT until you have to have them.

A friend at work just bought clearance wheels and tires package from Yukon Walmart for his 07 Nissan Titan, he said it was around $530 out the door. It impressed me, I'll be buying from Walmart now on too.

Just got back from spending Thanksgiving at my brother-in-laws. The in-laws came up during that time also. The father in laws drivers door was all crunched in the hinge area. Guess he went out hunting opening day by himself and got stuck. While backing up had his door open to see- it dug into the embankment. At 79 he shouldn't be out by himself. I looked at his tires which looked good from 50' back. BFG KO2s.... that are 98% bald. In fact cords are showing on the inside edge.

Wasn't in my budget but discount tire was having 10% off sales now and I have a discount tire credit card for another 10% off. Looked for cheaper tires that weren't just crap. First on my list was those Hankook Dynapros but found some Falken Wilkpeak AT3Ws for less $$. Falken has come a long ways in the last few years since they have been road racing and off road racing. You learn a lot doing that- and they then change their tires accordingly.

Hopefully these will be good tires for him. But anything is better than what he is running now. These tires have the mountain snowflake symbol on them also which is a very good thing. He is still working full time at Home Depot and has a 25 mile (one way) commute.

You can buy tires, wheels, or combos. Great prices and free shipping. Found this website after purchasing my tires. (I wish I had bought mine from them)

I concur that 285/75 tires will fit on the factory 16x6.5 wheel without rubbing. My K30 is not lifted.

Tires are BFG AT KOs.

I saw a guy on a bookface page that i belong to post that he put 285/75/16's with the 2 inch lift on his 2wheel drive...I'll see if I can find the pic of the gentleman's truck because I though it looked sharp as HE..double hockey sticks.

This was the truck... he said he didn't have any clearance issues. Do not know what brand of tire he is using. This is the look we are gonna try for.

Didn't that size come stock on non-lifted trucks? I was planning to try that size on my next tire purchase.

Edit: Never Mind, I was thinking of LT235/85R16

Our 2 wheel drive has a 5 lug 15" currently. Going to try and find some 16" rims to give it this look. In my not so professional opinion o_O the 15 are a little small looking on the lifted truck.
