New Project.. 48 chevy ratrod

Well guys i finally got rid of my 75 vega gt.. traded for this 1948 chevy 3100 pickup... or whats left of it anyway..

Heres a basic run-down of whats on the truck:

1948 cab sitting on a late 80's S-10 frame.
early 40's Willys Jeep grill, late 70's ford bed with S-10 bed floor.
305 H.O./ 700R4 from a early 90's cop car.
7 inch corvette rallies on front 10s out back.
custom driveshaft
all new belltech suspension front and rear.(drop spindles, coils, shocks, and bushings on front. drop leaf springs, blocks, and bushings rear)

my plans are to ditch the fuel injection and wiring harness from the S-10 and go with a carb. and harness from 76 squarebody. eventually i want to change the bed and grill so this thing will be all Chevy. for now i want to finish it as-is and get it on the road then ill start changing things around..

first thing on my to-do list.. build the floor and work my way out.. feel free to let me know what yall think about it...

First things first....take those stacks down especially since they're not functional and clash with the rest of the truck

Kinda undecided about the stacks... The headers have a flange welded on the bottom so you can bolt on an exhaust, thought about making them functional or putting side pipes on it... If I do go with the stacks I'm gonna do them a little different so they match the truck..

Needs more power. Make the carb swap worthwhile and put a blower on there.

Then you can leave the stacks because nobody will be making fun of you when you blow their doors off in that thing

yeah the 305 needs to go but that will come later, for now I wanna get it going then Ill build a good motor for it...

if I decide to keep stacks on it Ill have different ones on it and probably put them between the cab and bed instead of thru the bed.. First thing on my list is to get the floor finished and the cab mounted..
