Hey guys - recently picked up a 1974 C10 Custom Deluxe. It's been 30 years since I've had a vehicle I can work on so picked this up as a work truck and a work-on truck. So far it runs great but I'm thinking of going the EFI route. Looking forward to learning from you all and sharing the adventure

Welcome from the Texas Panhandle.

Looks like a straight truck. I'd stick with a carburetor if it was mine, even if it needed a carb kit. I don't care to to deal with computers on an older vehicle that doesn't need one.
74 was the last year for a points distributer. I would swap in an HEI if it still has points.

Thanks everyone. I guess I will look into rebuilding the carb, current issue is choke pull off doesn’t work so starting it up is a bit of a pain
