hello all! Long intro sorry. Bought my first square just after New Years. 1985 c20 350/SM465. Ran good bed was shot but my buddy that got me into the squares was taking his bed off for another and said I could have his old one so I wasn’t too concerned about that. Biggest complaint is one of the PO’s painted the truck camo so it’ll be repainted as soon as the weather turns warm. After taking the rack off So far I’ve been driving it and letting it tell me what it needed. Replaced the seat, seatbelts, and dash pad with red ones that were in way better shape then the originals. It’s just a weekend toy for me to haul my quad around so I originally thought I would be fine with a 2wd. Que the first time I got stuck in the driveway mud haha. So I’ve been keeping my eyes open for a 4x4 truck to replace this one with. Then last weekend I found a guy selling a K20 frame with axles for $300. And my buddy is parting out a 87 K10 so I’m going to buy the drivetrain out of it and put it in my new frame to get the 4wd trans and tbi. Ran and got the frame Sunday so now I have a big project swapping his drivetrain into the new frame then my cab onto the new frame. Included some pictures of it since everyone loves pictures. First one is the day I got it, second picture is backing the trailer in after I dropped off the new frame and third picture is the new frame.
