I have had my '83 GMC C-1500 for over 24 years now. I did a frame off restoration of the truck back in the 90's and it was my daily driver for many years. Finally starting to work on getting some upgrades done so I can drive her regularly again. Been lurking on this forum for a little while, and decided to finally post and say hello. The first pic is when I built the truck up in the 90's and the second pic is how it is sits now. Currently working on rewiring the truck since the mice at the harness and swapping out the tired old 355 for a new 6.0L.

I hate mice. I killed four this weekend. I’m hoping that was the bulk of them. I got the ones near the vehicles for sure. Lots of glue traps and snap traps. I get tired of the collateral damages. The snap traps got several wrens in the winter, and just today a glue trap caught a scorpion. Not the stinging ones, but the lizard kind. Anyway, welcome aboard! Glad you stuck with the truck for so long.

Nice ride you have there. I’m assuming the color is more the top pic than the bottom? My truck is Gypsy Red, but depending on the light, can look orange also. Do you happen to know what your color actually is.
