Hey guys I just bought a 78 K10 for a reasonable price it needs a lot of work and was an abused farm truck but I'm up to the task I've always loved the box body trucks I've always owned chevy's just never got my hands on an older one. I'm from California but I've been in the Army for the past 12 years and called Ft. Bragg North Carolina my home for the most part.
immediate future: replace trans(no reverse) power steering pump(going out) fix leaks, engine has good compression and starts right up.
After next deployment: frame off lots of TLC and new parts$$$$$$
I'm glad I found the forum there seems to be plenty of knowledge and that's worth more than paying someone to fix something or over paying for something from somewhere.
