Sorry man, but this is a AWD suburban. It has no two wheel drive option, unless I were to install manual hubs in the front.
It has the following options on the transfer case:
Low lock, low, neutral, high, and high lock.
It's an actual AWD, my friend. I didn't know chevy made these in AWD in 1978 either, but they did.

Thanks man. That's the factory stereo from 1978. It still works. I can tune in radio stations with it. I was really amazed that it was operational.

You need to read up on your "AWD". In actuality it's a one wheel drive unless it has some sort of locker in the front and rear differentials or you put the T-case in one of the lock positions. You will find this out if and when you get it stuck somewhere?
