New GMC c1500 4wd owner

Just purchased a 1984 c1500 4wd. Pretty dang excited about too! Can't wait to get her home and start doing work on it. Would love to hear from experienced owners and get some ideas from upgrades to parts suppliers. Will post pics soon. Thanks in advance

Wouldn't an 84 4x4 be a K10/K15? Or maybe I'm just not familiar with the GMC designations. Anyways, I wanna check it out, where's the pics?

GMC trucks got the k1500 C1500 names before they switched body styles. He said its a "C1500 4x4" so its actually a K 1500. Starting in 88 All the gm trucks were C or K followed by the digits 1500, 2500 or 3500. Also grey area in the ealy 90's stuff because they kept making the square body Suburbans and Blazers up to 91 I think. Those im not sure of completely, they got like a V1500 badge or some other ****, who knows.

yeah i was gonna say, my 82 gmc 4x4 title says K1500

Here is what I have found out about the truck. title/vin says c1500. yep, 2wd auto with factory 305. 2 owners before me, rebuilt a 350 and dropped in it. I am lucky enough to know that guy, so I am in the process of contacting him to find out about the 4x4 upgrade. Thanks everyone, looks like I will be on here a lot. Any help is appreciated
