Hey, ya'll.
I'm Daysen,
I've been obsessed with squarebodies as long as I can remember. I had my gorgeous blazer shipped out from Cali 2 years ago, at the age of 18. I've grown up in Chicago (unfortunately), and have been on my own for a while. I hear a lot of people say they had a family member that influenced them to like cars, but with me, that's not the case. Its not passed down through blood with me, but it still runs through my veins. I have 2 years of mechanic experience, and now I flip cars to pay my bills.
I come across a lot of great cars, every once in a while I'll give one a name and add it to the family.
The current fleet is as follows:
*CARS*
Baby Blue - '78 k5 Blazer Cheyenne Bonanza Edition- numbers matching 350, power locks/windows, A/C, original build sheet.
White Lightning -'81 Firebird Formula- 301, Vegas Car, 40,000 original miles.
The Pooter - '05 Acura TSX- 2.4 BullSh*t.. Plans to let go
*BIKES*
Plue - '99 Dyna FXD 1450cc
Phoenix - '92 Springer Softail 1300cc EVO w/ cam, custom rake, chromed out, chameleon flame paint.
The Green Machine - '01 Kawasaki ZX6R- uhh...recently got hit by a car on this one, prolly gonna let it go.
'03 TTR 125
NO NAME - '03 Suzuki GSXR w/ nitrous
78 Drag Boat - 455 Olds w/ Blower
*ZOO*
Oakie - 4 y/o Palomino Quarter Horse
Dazy- 1 y/o Golden Retriever
Peaches- 6m/o White Bellied Caique
Harley- 6m/o Maine Coon
2 Ducks I ordered online when I was drunk
The only positive thing about Chicago, is if you're strong like me, it'll give you the nerve to grow a pair and make a change. So that's exactly what I did. Right now, I'm crammed into a 1BR at an ungodly price, clogging the parking lot outside and lookin like a zoo on the inside.
That's why I just got a mortgage on 100 acres in the mountains of East Tennesee. I'll be ready to start the move soon.
The reason I came to this page, is that I usually take to social media to find the community with similar interests as I do. I'm running an Instagram centered around my vehicles/ life, and I've been pleasantly surprised with the support I've gotten through that.
*ALSO I NEED ADVICE*
On the way up from Knoxville recently, MY TRUCKS ENGINE BLEW!
I think its just the heads... hopefully.
But anyway, I will be taking it out and rebuilding it to perfection.
I'm getting to start the frame- off I've always wanted with her, but I don't know where to start with technicality, but I have the entire design in mind.
I want to do a LML DURAMAX SWAP with her. I NEED HELP figuring it out. Any advice would be appreciated!
Thanks!
