hello. long story. just re-acquired a 76 gmc high sierra full time 4x4. 66k original mile farm truck. d44 12 bolt posi th350 with almost no options. I have heat and seat belts, thats about all. runnin 9.00x16 military tires. big lift and big tires planned, maybe a big block caddy engine swap, but it gets horrendous fuel mileage already. cab is nice, but doors and front fenders are crappy, bed and hood is worse. going to be my DD.

Idiot brother has 87 r10 shortbed 4x2 running 400 sbc from 73 caprice, .479 comp cam, gear drive timing set, th700 with shift kit, edelbrock high rise air gap intake, 600 cfm edelbrock(carter) carb, long tubes, dual electric fans, frame bent all to hell, and crummy 8.5 ten bolt. a real redneck hot rod. will be installing lt1 aluminum heads soon. MSd street fire distributor also.
having said that, I am an old school muscle car guy, built many a chrysler b body, a few ridiculous 4x4s, good knowledge of engine performance and chassis design, could care less about pretty.
