Howdy from Austin. One of my favorite squares I owned was a 1981 stepside with a 250, great little truck.

You're off to a great start!
First, keep your day job to pay the bills.
Second, get a second job to pay for the truck parts.

Welcome to the madness

believe it or not I do have a second part time job working at a computer company (so as to be able to afford parts for the truck)

Welcome!

San Antonio -- I spent a few months there working IT for USAA. Good people, really had their collective s!!! together. But I had to buy a damn parka at their gift shop, in August, the lab was so damn cold!

Get yourself a $60 tape deck to mount under the dash and keep George Strait tapes playing at all times.
