New to the forum from pa, with my 83 k10 327 four speed, 38in super swampers, 3in body lift, 4in suspension lift. Not the prettiest truck but we will slowly get there. Took 3 years to get one of these bad boys. Fell in love with them when I was around 7 my dad had one so when I got money I started looking the first year I found a 86 barn find 88k original all rust was cut out and replaced he wanted 1600$ I told him Friday I would buy it, Friday cam and he sold it for a extra 100$ when I would have given him more if he asked anyway. Year 2 found a 84 on 78 frame, pretty rough he wanted 1300$ I went to work thought it over called on lunch to see if he wanted to sell it the next day and one of his buddy's bought it an hour after I looked at it. Year 3 I went back to my buddy's garage I had worked at and asked him about a truck we worked on the year before he said he heard it was for sale we had changed the cam and the heads and put on full dual exhaust when we worked on it. Went talked to the guy he wanted 3000$ for it and it was a little over priced but I wasn't missing out again I bought it that day and it's been my baby ever since. It's great to have one of your dream vehicles at such a young age. This truck is to me what a numbers matching 69' camaro is to most chevy guys. Thanks for reading and looking forward to contributing any way I can.
