I just finished reupholstering my bench seat. As with most of these old trucks, my vinyl was cracked and split in many places. Fortunately, the foam was still in good shape, as the sun hadn’t eaten it up much where it was showing through. My quandary was that I didn’t want hot, sticky vinyl, and I really dislike the factory velour. Raybuck auto came to my rescue, as they offer OEM quality replacement upholstery in any color tweed you could want. I paid about $240 for the kit, which included hog rings and pliers. It’s good quality, the seams line up, and it was pretty easy to install. I’m very happy with the result.

Man i like the color of that seat! Looks pretty good for a kit. $240 aint bad because my first real job at 14 years old was in an upholstery shop and back 17 years ago we got $200 for a seat with no foam repair. I am looking for a good kit, im going to have to check these out for sure.

Looks good, so much of the interior is the seat. I wasn't brave enough to tackle a seat cover, good job.

Nice work. If the foam is in good condition, the upholstery well made and not ill fitting the install is not to bad. Some patience, a warm place, some beers and you get it done in 1 afternoon.

The whole job only took me a couple hours, and I’m very pleased with the result. They offer the upholstery in damn near every color imaginable, in tweed or vinyl, tweed with vinyl inserts, full back or open back, and you choose whatever vinyl/fabric color combo you want.
