Thanks for the Coker reference. I think their American Classics are perfect for a Sunday drive, but I would never put them on a Big 10 for daily, 4-season driving, and I would never put a load on them. Then I looked at Vogue Classic. They’re rated for extra load. But when I e-mailed them, they told me not put their tire on light trucks. There is no other tire on the market with a wide-enough narrow whitewall stripe to match the original tire. Sigh. So I broadened my search to white letters. I figured since I was open to white lettering, I might as well get the best damned tire on the market. In my search, the Michelin LTS M/S came out on top. For those asking why I don’t go with an all-terrain tire, the Big 10 never came with all-terrain tires on the front. I could put them on the rear, which I may still do in winter.
