AND YES......it's definitely a good time to replace your one set of body bushing mounts.

Rust belt, but I got it,and yea, very jealous. No way are you getting the rear cab bolts and all the bed bolts out of a Kansas truck without a drill and a torch.

I had to measure and cut a little steel to fold back, to access the middle cab mount bolts. It has a caged nut in size and they are almost 100% fu**ed, and just sit there an spin. Use plenty of "Break Away" or "PB blaster" or any spray lubricant and work the bolt backwards and forwards and eventually it will come out. You will use quite a bit of "PB Blaster I can be a pain the ass but it can be done. Just go easy on the cut off wheel. There are some VERY good videos on you tube if you search square body cab mount replacement. I hope this all works out for you! Make sure you save the bolt and clean it up really good with wire brush. A lot of guys have done it, and it makes a noticeable improvement. I had yet another 1975 that was SO rusted, the cab supports literally fell off on the highway from rust. You do NOT want to get to that point. It is probably one the #1 rust areas in the entire truck. GM flaw design
