Hello,
I recently got an '82 K15 Sierra with a 6.2 diesel. It was imported here to Finland already back in 1990. She runs fine and is working quite well, but of course needs some work here and there.
I've been cleaning the engine bay from the works of previous owners and their wiring... when doing this I've come up with a few connectors in the engine wiring harness that aren't connected to anywhere, and there doesn't seem to be anything they're supposed to be plugged in the near vicinity.
Could someone please help me to identify these connectors, if they are something I would definitely want to sort out? As said, the engine runs normally (this is my first 6.2d so I don't have previous experience) even without them connected.
Thank you so much for the help!
Best regards,
J-P
Overall engine bay
First connector
Second connector, between firewall and air filter
Third connector, next to the second one, coming under the air filter
This component? Located in the back of the cylinder block between the heads. There is supposed to be an electrical connector attached to this.
