Need an air injection pump (smog pump) for an 87 gmc V2500 TBI 350

Can anyone steer me where to buy a new or rebuilt smog pump? Only thing I can find are places I have to remove my pump and send it in for repair. I dont want to sit my truck down for a month waiting for this part to ship out and ship back.

I Live in the California Bay area and have to deal with smog. I also have my truck all original.

Gotcha- how do you know if it's bad? My truck is all original too. what if pump is bad? What happens??

The bearing went out and its making noise.

So in the mean time, are you just running with the belt removed?

I've scrapped so many smog pumps, it's ridiculous. I've probably still got an extra or two. I could probably send you one, but it may need rebuilt.

Why not just put a better catalytic converter on it that will burn the exhaust gases better and give you better performance. Air pumps are worthless.

Here in Commiefornia we have to keep all OEM emissions or the vehicle fails the bi-annual smog test. Any modified equipment (headers, cats, CAI, etc.) has to have an Executive Order (E.O. #) authorizing it's use.
