My first Chevy. Restored 85 4x4

Sold my 17” f250 diesel because I didn’t use it and wanted a good classic that I can work on. I found one that the guy put a cpl years into already. It isn’t perfect but He did the part I dont have the patience or time for. Frame off, blasted, epoxy primed and painted. He changed pretty much everything, bushings, grommets, fuel tanks, motor (97” vortec 350), interio, wiring. It also has cold a/c.
it has a few small issues I’m working on but I drove it 1.5 hours home with no issues.

Beautiful. Do you know the oem paint code on that truck? It should be in the glovebox. I have an 85 as well and I think it may have originally been that same color.

I don’t think this is the original color but I can look. The truck is at another house but I’ll be back there Friday.

dont know where the got them, but they are nice. The problem tho is that with the high thick back-rest it pushes the seat forward. And their ain’t much room. Good thing I’m Not tall.

That’s it! That wasn’t a very common color. It was actually a minivan paint code and was also 1 of 3 codes used for the Outdoorsman Special Edition K10s. Mine was also WA8915 but was recently repainted white. Beautiful truck btw man!
