Just got a 94 short bed standard cab Chevy after I got done with the 84 c10. I did a little preventative maintenance and ended up getting bad parts from oriellys. Spent over a week trying to figure it out. After I got it driving home the check engine light came on so next day I hooked it up to a scanner at work and it said egr problems so I got a new egr then did plugs wires, ignition module, idle air control valve, coil, throttle position sensor and after that it would turn over and not start. Figured maybe got a bad ignition module so I got a new distributor and still same thing. So then after double checking everything I put the old throttle position sensor and idle air control valve back on and fired right up. Just thought I would pass the info on maybe to help someone out later. Today I got a new iac and tps from Chevy and it runs perfect. Lots of brand new junk parts out there these days

94 looks like it could squat down a bit but clean. Body lines look straight as well. Also that 84 is a looker!

Nice choice! I don't think it's going to far in your lowered pic though... I've never seen a flat tire flat on the top!!! LOL!!

Nice rides!
Shows some real pride in ownership.
And valid warning.
It’s not just the Big box Parts stores either. Have had similar struggles with Napa as well.
If it’s a part for a newer vehicle or something I intend to last a long time, I generally make every attempt to buy OEM parts in recent years as the lack of headaches out weighs the additional parts cost. Most recent was 3 bad rebuilt alternators from Napa. 1 lasted a few months and actually died 200mi from home within a few miles of the original parking lot replacement. 2 more bad straight outta the box before I ever left the store.

I definitely like my chevys! Parts for a older trucks running a carb and no computer. It took me a long time to figure out what went wrong I just was doing preventative maintenance then it wouldn't even fire up. I have had good luck with precision from oriellys and lifetime warranty. I had one pulley get loose but no starting problems. Napa in my town rips people off and overcharging I caught them doing it once
