Just wanted to post about my truck. Im on Instagram @Suncuty_squarebody and i post my work and updates on the truck there. I bought the truck with the wheels and stance it has now, the guy told me its a 5/6 drop. No AC, no power steering, and no power brakes but i love it.
Since I bought it in 2021 I've done the carpet, sound deadener, and it had a few very small holes my father in law had to patch up on the driver floor board (this truck is essentially rust free, I'm out of el paso TX where there is virtually no rust). I also installed the retro radio with an aux cord, paired it to 4 3 inch kenwoods in the dash, 2 jbl 6X9s in the rear cab corners along with 2 0.75 jbl tweeters. I plan on installing a small 8 inch retro subwoofer as well. Maybe 2.
I started the body work last year, and i was ready to prime the passenger side when my daughter decided to come about 2 months early. So that's on hold for the moment, but I'll get back to it sooner or later. My in laws just got it tinted for me, 5% front and back windows.
Other than that, its a solid truck. 250 CI paired to a 3 speed. She don't go anywhere fast, but by god she can get anywhere without any problems. I want to eventually move up to a V8, possibly a big block. But for now I'm enjoying driving a solid running truck that i can work on in my spare time!
