I got my truck home today and am just curious what motor is in it. I know it's not original as it was an inline 6. I've googled how to identify them and not having any luck.

CRA suffix can indicate 3 different engines with 2 possible years of manufacture 1977 (1) or 1982 (2). All 3 were rated at 145 HP. Switch to the partial VIN code for year:

1/7 = Chevy - assembled in a year ending in 7. So it was the 1977.
