@SirRobyn0 The trip up Friday was a b!tch thru Baker City, snow, and thru LaGrande, more snow. Only for about a total of 10 miles, though. We were worried about the Blue Mountains, between LaGrande and Pendleton, but it was clear and around 35-38 degrees. Followed I-84 into Troutdale(Portland) and took I-205 into Washington, then up I-5 to Lacey WA. Stayed at the Quality Inn in Lacey, just off the Freeway. Pretty much a straight shot to the ball fields. down Martin Way, right on Marvin Road to the complex. Coming home Sunday, great weather and light(Daylight Savings Time) til we got back to Baker City, then about 5 miles East of Baker, we ran into about 10 miles of THICK FOG, like 30 MPH fog. Luckily it cleared and back to 75-79 mph. Left Lacey around 2:30 Weiser time and got home at 9:30 pm. Stopped in The Dalles for a bite and then at the Love's truck stop, West of Pendleton, for fuel. It was a good trip, Macie, G-daughter had a great series, 3 Home Runs a couple of Doubles and 13 Runs Batted In over the 4 games they played. Hit 7 for 11 with a couple of walks thrown in. The Team won all 4 they played and they were all 5 inning games instead of the regulation 7 innings because of the 8 run mercy rule. Was a little chilly, little wet, and a little breezy, but my Bride and I had our rain jackets with hoods, chairs with our harbor Freight moving blankets, that we use for wind break and heat containment along with our propane canister powered heater. We were warm, dry, and excited watching the games. It was GREAT!!!! Sorry for the letter, but DAMN , it was fun to watch her!!! Also on another note, I picked up and old Sun Scope from a guy in Walla Walla, weekend before last. Not the cabinet it sat on, just the top scope part. He had it listed on CL for FREE, come and get it, so I did. Really nice fellow, had a Radiator shop In Walla Walla, retired now. We plan on cleaning it up and putting it in our Automotive room in the local Museum. I will try to post some pics when we get it set up!
