Metal Seat Belt Buckle

I need one seat belt buckle for an '84 K10. Brown is preferable, but not much of this will show so it doesn't really matter what color it is. I have good belts but the button on this buckle feels like the spring is gone.

FWIW, the plastic covered buckles are too narrow to accept the metal tab.

Brown? It’s a little unclear which piece you need.
The seatbelt buckle for an ‘84 is polished metal, do you mean you need the female side of the seatbelt with the buckle and webbing attached? or just a female buckle?

If you’re looking to buy new, Wesco Performance will have what you need.
I have many buckles and would be happy to send one to you..
but it’s just a buckle and you would need a trim shop to sew on new webbing and mounting point bracket.
You should check salvage yards for a female side seatbelt.

@AuroraGirl: Sorry - I knew a picture would be better but didn't take one first

I need the the entire female side - metal buckle with the webbing, preferably in brown. So little of the webbing will show through that the color won't matter much.

@FireTruck1984: I saw similar vendors selling similar products - but they don't say the size of the buckle/latch. I know they also offer to repair the buckles so that will be my second option if i can't get a good used one. I bought a replacement set of belts, but they don't pull out nicely because I can't get them to mount vertically just right. Drives me crazy to have to tug on the belt 2 or 3 times to finally get it out enough to latch

In the picture below, I have the GM buckle with some of the webbing showing. The metal tab is 1.62 in. (1 5/8)

Yes, that belt buckle is the GM "B" style. Used later in the 1970's through the 1980's.

This (aftermarket) is the GM "A" style from the 1960"s to the early 1970's. Real GM buckle would have the correct logo.

The "B" style are the belt buckles that could fail in certain extreme accidents. No way could GM afford to recall all the vehicles that have these belts, so just paid any law suits. This also helped keep the news media quiet.

is htis one tucked in the seat and console area the B style... thats a 75. My 1990 has the same ones, and the gm cars had the same till likle 94, 95, maybe 96 but it may have been model lines.

i told you I have some but they arent brown webbing. bright red or burgandy cant tell if its dirt or the chosen color lol.

Im still unclear what you are looking for. The receptacle of the seatbelt that you pull out from the left side of your cab and cross over your body(3pt) and then click the belt into that, the buckle? Yours currently doesnt work right because its not easy to click in and out, its too much resistance? or yours is laying down and too tight to turn? Most trucks from this time theye slid into the seat with a plastic pass through and then laid there like with enough extra you can twist them and turn them.

a bucket seat truck like my 78 had a buckle kind of propped up to your right with a semi moveable behavior to it.

My 1990 olds has a plastic sleeve that twists the buckle in the driver spot to be pointed at a 45 degree relative to the floor and seat back and sit out slightly but thats a split bench 55/45

The buckle in your picture of the 80 Silverado won't work for me. The plastic buckle is too small
