Max has listened to me complain about how loud his truck is for a while now.
Yesterday he had the time to change it some.
The engine is a 307 small block that has fun hotrod stuff done to it with a tiny little baby RV cam.
Because the truck sits on a S-10 chassis it still has the terrible flowing 1979 Malibu cast iron manifolds on it as they exit in the best spot.
From the manifolds it has 2 inch down pipes that connect to a set of 3 inch exhaust pipes that start where header collectors would be.
The pipes originally each had a single chamber Jones Flowpack in them and it was super loud.

This is from last year, before he put the tail pipes on it and it was very loud.

For this video, he added a set of Flowmonster single chamber mufflers in line with the old ones.
Now he has kind of a two chamber for each pipe.
That took a bunch of the "rattle" out of the exhaust note and it sounds deeper and overall much better.
Soon we will build it a set of custom headers...

It's a fun little thing.

You can also now see the fresh rear bumper he put on it.

Some how the kid has managed to blow up two Ebay radiators and just recently purchased himself a spendy Cold Case unit.
That should be the end of that.

But yours has actual muscle in front of the bark.
It is a bit much for me, but that is just fine.

Currently Max, is all fart and no shidd.
He also does not have a H pipe or crossover at all, so the banks fight your ears.
I just wanted it to have a more refined sound with less of the harsh shrill noise it has and this upgrade has made it sound much better.

Funny enough i have great hair and always get complimented when its grown out but i hate it and shave er bald.
At least it grows back. I know a guy that had a good head of hair, and he decided to shave his head, it never grew back. He shaved it back in the 70's, he was maybe early twenties back then, so he's been bald most of his life now.
