Ew.

Noob.

What about exhaust gas temperatures and scavenging and exit velocities?

I'll give you a hint: Your street trucks NEEDS tailpipes or you are throwing both money AND horsepower out the window PLUS you will look like a *********.

A ********* with no money and a ghetto truck with crappy exhaust lol.
Who are you calling a noob?
I hope you are being satirical as I was.

It's actually not a bad idea for the initial startup of a newly rebuilt engine with a flat tappet cam that needs to be broken in. Maybe one doesn't want to or isn't quite prepared to build his exhaust system until he is certain the engine is running and cam getting broken in.

I do have to admit I have owned a Ford... 1988 I was 18 and driving a '64 Falcon Furtura, 289 4 speed.... and header mufflers oops!

If I ever put a video on you tube for the sole purpose of showing off how my exhaust sounds, I truly hope somebody knocks me to the ground and kicks me repeatedly in the dick. I will have deserved it.

lol, It seems that, back in the day, if you wanted your ride to sound badass, you built the engine. Careful selection of components and cam, netted you a killer exhaust note. Now, we have 14 pages of an exhaust build, for what, a stock mill?

Here is some fuel for the fire. This is one of the 4.5" Flowmasters for the 72 Suburban when it gets the 632.

My goodness it's like you have always got something to say about practicality on my threads...:rotflmao:.
Never said you couldn't build an engine and such, just talking about the tone.

So I have a 1998 K1500, Its manifolds, cats, and stock except it has been straight piped, if I were to put duals with an H-pipe and Dynomax Race bullets would it sound quieter?
