Beautiful truck! I too also like that rake, I would personally leave it and modify the inner fender wells for your issue. However, you have to be happy with it so if you want to raise that front a bit for the look you want, do it!

No matter what you decide, that truck is awesome!
Hey thanks man!! I ordered a set of Slosh Tubz today. That will fix the issue.

I always like the parts these guys offered.
I’ll probably install these to cover up my wiring. Dunno if they’d help someone with wheel clearance issues.

What the hell's wrong with air shocks or mullets?
Young folks nowadays want to shave the sides of their heads and have an explosion of unruly **** on top. I don't understand it any more than they understand my mullet.
And in the right situations, air shocks are OK. Not the best usually, but OK.

It is not like I wanted "business in the front, party in the back", but as my fourhead turned into a sixhead(fingers above my eyebrows), that is what happened. So, who knew that a mullet was just male pattern baldness?

That's an expensive fix! 1-inch taller springs would solve both the inner fender and fender lip problems.

That's an expensive fix! 1-inch taller springs would solve both the inner fender and fender lip problems.
Mine is lower and I have no issues with the tire hitting the fender lip so I imagine he'll be fine.

Mate, you posted in another thread saying you had to jack up the control arms to be able to connect the shocks, a couple of us answered you there.
your problem could well be just as simple as the shocks are holding down the front of the truck and it’s not safe to drive it with shocks without any rebound capability.

^ I doubt that this is the issue, I've lowered several with stock shocks and they never limited rebound.
It's an easy theory to test, though - disconnect the top of the shock and see what happens.
Regardless, you should buy some new shocks built for the correct amount of travel.

Yep. that's true. And 1" taller springs is certainly not out of the question. The tires do not rub the fender lips.... but it is very close! I could roll the lips, but I am taking one step at a time.

Yeah I did. Thinking I had 2 separate issues. Tom at Switch Suspension told me to put the wheels on the truck and get it onto all 4 on the ground. Then measure center of shock mount to center of shock mount (top to bottom). I did what he asked and I even told him the shocks were too short. He said this is what McGaughy's ssells for their kits. I called McGaughy's and pretty much same song and dance. If I were to do it over... Western Chassis all day long. Would not recommend McGaughy's. Shocks are measured mount to mount with the suspension relaxed while on a lift.
