I lived in my home town Estevan Saskatchewan in the 80's, and my two buddies Rat Bag and Goober would drive 2 hrs to Regina to the Molson brewery. Rat Bag's grampa worked there and we were able to buy a pallet (88 12 packs) at a time. Cost around $620ish. We killed that pallet in a month plus we were in the bar several nights a week, and always bought off-sale when we left. Plus always kept a stock of whiskey and vodka around. Man we made a lot of coin returning empties. True story.
