I have a 3/4 '87 4x4 Burb for sale, not sure how to get the word out other than this thread. In South Texas, frame is a 10/10. Message me for details.

Well hasn’t been many nice ones nor any potential deals for a while.
This one popped up and if a guy can handle “Holly Green”, it looks like a pretty good overall truck.
Does have a big block in place of the original 400, but it’s a realistic priced truck that looks solid from most all aspects.
Btw Dallas IS a small town in western Oreeegun. Lol

This thread is making me open up marketplace. CL has gone to chit in this area.

I looked at 400+ 90s 7.3 fords and 80s 3+3 chevys before i landed on one.

The thrill of the hunt lol.

I like green, so the color is not an issue.

And I know @78C10BigTen will LOVE the OE mirrors.

I had been looking at OBS trucks and Burbs for several years before I found my crew cab. There were a lot of used GM trucks in greater Houston area, but most were project material, not something you'd want to daily in the big city or feel comfortable going on a road trip in.
When our first OBS Burb got wrecked, I know we looked at every freaking burb in four counties, just like when we were looking for a square body Burb in '92 when we got the '84, and when it got stolen in '05. In 2005, it was the middle of hurricane season and we needed to have something to be trustworthy in case we had to evacuate. Dad and I found several square body Burbs, cheap, but none were really roadworthy. Found the OBS, and we were like "WOW Burbs have gotten way nicer in 20 years!"

Yah what is it with the Ford mirror conversions back in the day.
Must’ve been a fairly popular “mod” as I’ve seen several in the last few years since I’ve been lookin at squares.

Btw it’s still listed for sale. Would have thought it may go quicker.
Although Christmas thru tax time is the worst part of the year to sell stuff especially discretionary income type stuff.

Yup, shows this time of year can be lean as far as sales. Bad weather conditions that people have been dealing with, are another factor affecting sales. Even the summer shows were affected, once people in greater Houston area started getting $400-500 electric bills. More Americans are living paycheck to paycheck than most people realize. Having to buy two tires last week, sure put me in a hole....and the only reason it wasn't over $400 was that the BFG commercial T/As were on closeout so they were each $50 cheaper than the previous price (or what another chain has them for).

I'm so pissed I can't scrape up an extra 500 to pick this up, even if only for parts.
Damn... I'm really tempted to go get it. I probably don't even need a trailer, just flat tow it down to salem behind the K25 with a Harbor Fright tow bar.
