Looking for special jack stands

In my high school shop, we had jack stands that you could bolt on to the axles in place of the wheels. The height was adjustable with a screw like adjustment. They would make working on my truck SOOO much easier since I wouldn't have to keep the stands actually UNDER the truck.

Anybody know where I can find a similar set?

Seems like a good idea, until you're working on brakes, or swapping diff's...

Nope.

Now I am looking for some stands that will hold the axles at waist height while I clean them.

Hmm....wouldn't it be cheaper to make something like that?
