Party at your house!

Here's my weakness. Oldest brewery in the world....est 1040. I think the Normans got shtfaced on it when they invaded England. My preference is Hefe Weissbier......but of course I wont turn down Yuengling, Michelob, Bud, etc.

My real preference is spiced rum. That stuff just disconnects me. If I get lit on rum, I'll sit and talk about the effects of the Peloponnesian War on modern demographics. If I get lit on beer, I'm trying to pull my pants off over my head.....and making it. :boxed:

Ha.... I have a weak spot for spiced rum, too. As long as it's not too sweet, you better watch out.
I like rye whiskey a lot, too. Not sure why, but I can't leave rye alone (especially bulleit).
Living in PA, I've drank soooooo much yuengling. Keg after keg of lager. The ol' "Pottsville piss". :D
I like porters and stouts a lot, but I honesty get cravings for regular old domestic lagers. Coors OG, Miller, I dont give a ****, really. Genny and hamms around here are like $14/30. Good lawnmowin and truck workin beer.

Welcome from AZ. Have a good friend in SD, owns the Boars Nest in Leads, spends the winter down the road from me.

Smart guy - I'd take AZ winters over SD winters any day. We still get lots of sun, but lots of wind and cold to go with it. Cold was fun 30 yrs ago...not so much anymore. I've been through Leads a few times just cruisin. Buddies and I used to go to Sturgis for the biker fests....never owned a bike but the chicks were fun to watch. :)

I lived near Mitchell but we wanted to move towards Custer or Spearfish thataway when duty called here.

Heck - you're local to me!

My father in law was 93 when he passed a year ago. Still driving and bowled 3x a week with a 186 avg. He was a hard core Buckeye and Notre Dame fan. He would videotape their games and if they won, he'd keep the tapes. Best part is....he also videotaped Michigan's games in case they lost - and if so, would keep those tapes too! lol

Lol. Me too. Way too far back. I just tried the black rum. Didnt like it at first, but it grew on me. Tasted kinda like morgans mixed with jack. Im not a fan of jack, but like i said, it grew on me. I had the private stock years ago and i liked it but dont really remember the taste now. Guess ill have to revisit. I've drank enough spiced to float a battleship around:D

There's a Russian dark spice rum called Zahenka (sp?) - only place its available is in New Hampshire (where booze is tax free!). Comes in a larger bottle and is cheap. Many think its beneath them but I like it alot - get cases when I'm up thataway - I mix it with vanilla creme soda or cherry soda, or sometimes just straight too - but its got a unique rich taste. I get Kraken alot too.

Now I'm getting thirsty talking about it.......
