What all is the damage to your bed like?
Also, I think all the long beds are sold because they are the most made and no offense to the people with them but short beds are... babied... more often.
I say that as someome who drives to Walmart snd it’s fillled with lifted pavement princesses and usually they have no scuffs no nothing.
I go and leave and spend about 5 minutes throwing the tailgate at the latch with keys in one hand so probably leaving marks, each throw makes an ungodly thud because the trunnions are a little worm and there is only the stop bumpers. None of that padded luxurious quiet ladder minibar ribbed for his pleasure tailgate **** In a new truck.

oh, I have long beds. I don’t really have time to waste in my life or backseat drivers to satisfy

a lot of southern beds are purchased cheap and brought up here snd sold for 2k+. A square bed in ok shape is 1500. Period. Bad, missing parts, rusty, but still useable is 1000. 500 is parts of bed

but no offense to those with shortcom-I mean short beds

Length matters. :bleh:
