I never said I thought it was a bad idea for actual trail rigs. I was merely commenting on what blue ox had mentioned.

I’m also not going to do serious off-roading in something I have to get to work in on Monday morning—because stuff happens.

My mentality has always been work first play second. Hence, multiple vehicles.

Edit: I’m all for trying interesting stuff on toys. Then again, if I worked close to home or had access to public transportation, I might have a more liberal mentality with my daily driver. But I’m all alone out here, haha.

I have a third vehicle.

I wanna drive my Suburban to and from the trails.

Trailer queens(that are not purpose built) are just as bad as a squatted no sidewall P.O.S.(My opinion)

I also wanna daily it. Barring catastrophic failure it will remain that way.

But I have a backup plan if needed.

I was always under the assumption that old guys like four wheels and us young guys like to let it hang out on two!

Had to get that jab in, lol!

Here’s a few of my two wheeled young man toys:

Funny thing about that statement is my Dad is almost 71 and still rides moto and mountain bikes. Won’t touch four wheels off road. He calls anything with four wheels a couch.

Haha, love the tarp pic. That’s perfect. We’ve all thrown fun stuff under a tarp for longer than planned.

(your dad is awesome).

He is. Rode with him yesterday. Always blows me away with what he can still do. Gives me a lofty target to shoot for.

Your dad is kicking butt, and I probably need suspension seats in my Suburban at 33. Tell him I salute him.

Don’t ever give up on getting better. He had back surgery 20 years ago and was laid out for quite some time. A lot of physical therapy from the hospital and myself. The key was doing it everyday. He still works out 6 days a week, doesn’t drink and eats well.

This thread took a weird turn, lol.

Carry on.
