Turns out it was waaay worse than I thought. Ill not be using Engine Builders Inc. In Trussville AL for anything in the future.
Found one of the cam gear bolts(the mismatched ones) was broken almost all the way through. The head fell off in my socket before I even put any pressure to it.
Furthermore the pushrods were mismatched as well with one being a completely different style(smooth end vs the kind with the ring machined into the end). I know a pushrod is a pushrod as long as the diameter and length are the same but, cmon...really. My brother paid good money to have the engine built and im finding all kinds of BS.
On top of all that the guide plates had to be adjusted because you could see the obvious scarring on the pushrod from contact. Oh ,and the oil pan bolts were hand tight.
Im lucky this engine only has about 2hrs of run time otherwise there could have been some real damage.
