Mine are long, on purpose actually, so that I can trim them down to proper size after I got everything I needed done. My question, though, is, will they stay nice and suspended in the air if i trim them down, and how far should I? Id like to see your guys' hoses so I can judge where to cut mine.

heres mine

Actually, I believe there was a hose bracket that attached near the top of the wheel house towards the engine to hold the heater hoses. It made the hoses about 6-7' long. Mine looked like this when I bought it though.

Also, when you have a chance I would remove the ziptie from the plug wires and separate them with wire keepers like these... After time the spark will arc through the loom insulation.

Haha only if you had been around for my thread looking for spark plug wire holders. What do those attach to? And a link for em? I'd happily do it separate and then just maybe sup tie that part. Fortunately I don't see many hours on the truck

Yes, most squares have the hoses attached to a clip on the inner fender. Notice how the heater core tubes point that way. Also some models had the return hose go to the top of the radiator.

There are all styles. The ones in my picture above and below were stock. There were clips from the factory, I think. the wires were replaced at one time by POs that did not cut to length.

this is google search.. https://www.google.com/search?q=spa...pcoAX-nFB5ij-gTSvqG4DQ&bih=657&biw=1366&hl=en

Right now they are not connected to the heater core, gets too damn hot in the cab when they are.

From the looks of it, maybe GM used two different versions of the clip? One that retains downward with a bolt and nut and one that clips in?
