How would these LEDs: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Cool-White-...7393425?pt=US_Light_Bulbs&hash=item3cc96ce011

Compare to these: https://www.superbrightleds.com/mor...-bulb--19-smd-led-wedge-base-tower/1563/3624/

The top has only 9 SMDs but they are High power. The bottom is 19 SMDs but normal power.

These are going into my cluster so I can actually see it.
I am only going to replace the main lights (3, because my cluster has idiot lights) the bright light indicator, and the turn signal indicator.

The ebay ones are 165 lumen and the SBLED bulb is 260, so the SBLED is definitely brighter. It also comes with a warranty which is big for me. They're probably made in the same factory truth be told. The packages I received had "made in china" written all over them. You can always buy a few and test them out.

Both of those use the 3-chip 5050 smd LEDs. So the output per LED will be the same, except that the superbrightleds.com just has a ton more.

I've just recently replaced my entire dash with these 5 LED: http://www.superbrightleds.com/more...led-bulb-5-smd-led-wide-angle-wedge-base/206/

and I'm plenty happy with the crisp white brightness they give off. Bright enough to see the gauges clearly without being distractingly bright.

Has anybody actually went along and purchased the recommended bulbs for your vehicle that they say should work in their drop down list or have you all just picked your own? Just curious.

Do you have a picture of them on at night?

So far that I've looked, all of the bulbs they say that there are have been correct.

Before I started purchasing bulbs, I didn't believe that Chevrolet even used the wedge style bulbs in these trucks. Learned a bit from exploring and from looking at their website's bulb list for these trucks.

For the most part, I've used their website for the correct information and example photos from their customers and then purchased the bulbs from a cheaper supplier. I just don't have the funds to spend 6 or more bucks per LED bulb (I did purchase a pair of blue 5 SMD led ones for daytime running lights that was quickly swapped out for white ones).

Do you have a picture of them on at night?

I'll grab you a couple photos in a few hours when it gets dark out.

Thanks. I want to compare your results to these: http://www.gmsquarebody.com/forum/showpost.php?p=201316&postcount=1

My apologies for the slightly blurry shots, it's a little hard to stay perfectly still for 4 seconds.

This one was taken without flash and about a 4 second exposure. So, it's a little brighter than the actual lighting.

Same shot only the ignition is on (brake light has a small voltage while the ignition is on).

Here's the same photo except with the hazards lights on while the brake is depressed without the green turn signal covers on. (This picture most accurately represents the brightness of the gauge lighting).

The instrument cluster lights are 5 5050 SMD LED 194 bulbs. Turn Signals are the same bulb only blue. And the Brake Light is the same except it's red.

Thanks. I am going to order those LEDs.

EDIT: Ordered LEDs. Total came out to $47.50 shipping included.
I only got 4 instead of 5 because I have the Idiot lights where the gauges would normally be.

I got the 3-4 to go in the cluster, the blue one for the bright light indicator, and 2 for the turn signals.

I will finish ordering the remaining LEDs at a later date. (Service Engine Soon light, Idiot light indicators, and other misc LEDs I will need.)

Which ones did you grab up? The 9 LED bulbs?

Throw up some pictures once you get them installed.
