I haven't been able to get out into the dirt for a while. All my projects are in the middle of work being done.

Anyone with some cool recent wheeling pics to satisfy?

Mine has been off-roading for years. Sitting out there in the pasture for years now. Got mud on the tires and everything.

Well in that case I'm not jonesing. All my stuff sits on dirt too. Lol.

I was supposed to have a trail ride yesterday to go up and over some mountains and see if we could make it thru the deep snowdrifts that hang out there.

Trip got cancelled. Few of the guys have cherry orchards and one guys is building a house. Too many things happening- so it was cancelled. And I did have unlimited OT for this weekend... which I need to pay for all the parts I just bought for my truck.

And now without AC and it being well over 90 degrees I don't drive it much in the summer. :(

I did drive it a few days ago to work. We have a garage here that is good for aiming lights. I put in some Osram LED bulbs into my 7" round Hella H4 housings and finally got around to installing 4 of those Rigid LED cube lights. Those things are bright! Can't even tell when the headlights are on. One set is a 45 degree beam, the other set is a 10 degree beam.

Yeah even if I could wheel my junk right now I wouldn't be doing it on the 112 degree day that's expected today. Whew.

I am thinking about doing some welding on some thick stuff I have. Wont have to preheat... Or slow down the cooling.

Just trying to make lemonade.....

This heat wave is just disgusting.
Supposed to be 115 or so in Portland today.
We will be parked in the AC all day just like the last 3 days.

I here you! 99 degrees and not even 11:00 am yet.

I get a shirt wet, fold it, place in freezer about 15 20 minutes. When its ready (or you are) put it on. I usually swear for 10 seconds then its perfect. Extra points if you have a 2nd shirt and rotate.

Its worked all weekend for me

Driving home from work today.
Was reading 119 when the truck was parked, in the shade I might add. This was after driving a half hour…

Been sleeping in the camper with AC for the last 3 nights. No AC in the house….who would need that in Seattle? Lol

Ya'll funny. It's 90 at sunrise. And then it gets hot. Carry on.
I was waiting for that!
Lived in Phx for 2 years. Took the first opportunity we had to move OUT!
Call me in 25 years or so when my circulation gets poor and I’m looking for a condo in some state that is more accurately described as “God’s waiting room”. My opinion will maybe have changed by then!
Seriously, loved AZ while we were there, for the most part. Just like I loved living in AK and working on the North Slope.
But the NSlope and Southern AZ are better described as survival experiences in their respective weather extremes…

I loved AK too!! Fort Greeley. One time I left Yuma in March and it was 85 degrees. Stepped off the plane in Fairbanks and it was 15 below. Those experiences one never forgets.

That's why I don't live there. At least on purpose. Last year work sent me to Chandler in April. Some of my Arizona friends said it isn't bad in then. I'd like it... Left here and it was snowing. Forecast was supposed to be low 80s. Nope. Record breaking day of 103 when I flew in. I'd leave for work at 6:30 and it was around 90 like you said. Yuck. I was there thru the end of August. Only saw one monsoon rain that I heard so much about. It was impressive... but only one?
And of course most of my rental cars were black with a black interior. Double yuck.
