But these are pics of 73-80 2 tone options. 81 up didn't have the outlined metal trim for 2 tone options.

JMO, I'd stick with 81 up 2 tone options if you want to go 2 tone. Do you plan on painting the firewall and door jambs too? If not, I'd go with a 2 tone and have some black in the 2 tone option like. Silver over Black or Gray over Black look real nice. Go with a metallic gray on top and black across the bottom like the 2nd pic.

Right, I'll stay with the 81+ trim/molding pattern. The door jams, hood edges (until it meets the mat) and inside lip of the fenders will all be painted. Engine bay is black now since it's original. Plan on keeping the black so I don't have to pull the engine. Will also pull the top to paint the edges the new body color. Top will probably be black texture as it was originally.

I like 2 tone but may just go solid body color with a black top. The chrome trim will also put in the stock location.

My son was wanting some version of green, his favorite color.
I may not get it back once he begins to drive in the next couple of years.

Any pictures? Sounds like the color scheme of a tri-5.
I have old school real actual photos from 40 yrs ago absolutely. Nothing digital I can drop here, sorry.
It's frustrating I can't post pics here because my Mac computer and android phone get along like ford and chevy..
I don't use my phone for internet use, and besides I live rural where there is no cell service. It's lovely!
I have in the past posted a few pics from my phone, but that's when I lived within cell service.
At this point, I can't (won't) use my phone for internet because it won't work unless I subscribe to google, which I'll never do.

Trying to find someone to paint full trucks in DFW is a pain.
Everyone only wants to do collision work.
If anyone knows of someone in my area, can you send the details?
I've been looking all over CL.

Not to mention the 3 shops I went to.

Thanks

Nice.
I like the 70's in 2 tone since the molding frames the paint.

HAHA.
I didn't even think about the Harley colors since Ford has the partnership.
Very true but they shoulda went chevy. I just love those colors together especially with the moulding around it.

This guy from near where im from did it with these colors also but used a vinyl stripe instead of trim. I like it but the moulding would look nicer! Honey mustard and white look decent to, i love this burb!
