Here's my old '87 GMC K20. Picture is from 1989 when I bought it. It was the non-metallic dark blue with the charcoal middle. Unfortunately, I don't know the color code of the grey. I do know on my '79 K15, photo 2, was #18 Charcoal Metallic (18, 8052, WA8052) which is close. No I wasn't the one that put the Pete emblem on it.

I looked up the codes for 1987 GMC's and there are at least 4-5 versions if grey. Sorry I could help more.
