I replaced my 83 K20 Suburban power steering system (2 groove, w AC) with all new parts only to discover that most power steering pulleys available are significantly smaller diameter than original.
I noticed the new one was smaller but figured it was no big deal and tossed the old one. Big mistake! The smaller pulley requires a smaller than stock belt which means the PS pump both interferes with the AC and interferes with tightening the AC compressor belt. I got it working, but low end power steering assist is not great and it sure would be nice to be able to use stock belts!
I had to track the OEM part number down using the factory parts manual as all the listings are for the smaller pulleys. Aftermarket (eg Dorman 300-121) have outside diameter between 5.25-5.8 inches.
The original OEM (GM part#14023173) outside diameter is 6.5 inches. That's a big difference!

@MarineOne Appreciated. CVF has some awesome stuff, but sadly no dual groove vbelt pulleys that are 6.5 inches. Found one on eBay though!

Be aware that AC engines and non AC engines use different PS pulleys and belts as well as different crank pulleys.
