OK.
Let's go back to the start.
Pulls to the right.

Get a helper.
Get a measuring tape (12 foot or 25 foot)

Park your truck with the front wheels pointed straight forward. FORGET where the steering wheel is.

Take a 12 foot tape measure and measure from the FRONT outside tread of one tire (about a foot off of the ground) to the outside of the other.

Now measure from the REAR outside tread of one tire to the other (again about a foot off of the ground).

These 2 measurements should be VERY close.

If they are not then there IS an alignment issue.

IF it is an alignment issue, I would expect the FRONT measurement to be larger than the REAR measurement.

Hell, I haven't even figured out how to multi quote yet on this new software. It's not hit Multi, Multi then Quote like VBulletin was. I just figured it was no big deal to single quote so I do it too. Only time I like to multi quote is when 2 or 3 have made a similar comment and don't want to leave someone out as if they didn't matter. Maybe someone can tell me how to Multi Quote, I'm just an Admin why do I need to know that??? :happy175:

She's new too, so we'll get her lined out on a Under Construction thread so she can speak about all her trucks problems in that thread and then I can dice it up and copy posts to other threads where the info is beneficial in both places.

Paragraphs do certainly make it easier to understand different topics. My main pet peeve is at least using a period since we can all do that and I'll mention that when we get one of those guys. Otherwise, we're fairly informal here. Some of us are lazy, some of us aren't as educated as others and some of us just talk like it's today's lingo, and some of us just give a one or 2 line response that doesn't have enough detail to explain a damn thing and leave way to much open to guess. So long as the explanation is to the point and had all the important details we don't worry much about punctuation and grammar. Now when we write that letter to the White House and ask The Donald who won that damn truck we all signed up to win, then we'll worry a bit more about our grammar.

If you wanna, start up an Under Construction thread on your truck. That way all the help and questions you need help with pertaining to just your truck can be all in one place and you can also have a record or diary of the work and progress. If that speedo was never changed out, I have no reason to think that odo has rolled. It might just be a very cool truck to keep track of. I know it's probably not practical for you, but as said by someone, maybe add a more practical vehicle in the future and keep this toy/workhorse around for bad weather or the occasional need for a truck. In my case, having a cheap truck to carry liability on gave me multi car discount and saved me money. Anyway, that's for later down the road when things are better for you. For now, lets see about getting these things fixed on the truck. Do remember though, we're pic ******, and our porn is truck pics so you're gonna be hounded to post pics.

Before we work on the truck I think we need to work on ChevroletChic's stream-of-consciousness writing style. It's awfully hard to put the pieces together. Maybe we should call it Scream-of-consciousness. Paragraphs young lady! Use paragraphs!

The gang here can definitely help you get that thing running well but I am concerned that you are using that as your only vehicle right now. Is this something you are going to learn how to work on yourself or do you need to find someone to do all the work for you? My thought, and I will probably be crucified for saying it, is that you need to find an inexpensive commuter car for your daily driver.

I'm not saying that you can't use this vehicle for a daily driver, but if you are hauling your kids around you are going to want to make sure that it is safe (brakes, steering) and reliable (fuel delivery) if you want to use it for daily driving. If you are going to learn to do the work yourself, these guys can absolutely help you get where you need to get to, but it will take time and some of these things may leave your ride down for a bit.

It also makes sense to have something that gets 20+ MPG when you have to run kids around.

i totally agree luckily every kid walks in the one school other rides the bus! I recently moved out of my home and marriage of 14 years! Im currently living back with my mother until I find a place! I to wanted a second vehicle but everyone felt I shouldn't long story. Anyway they have no idea what its like driving the gas hog! I'm in town now thankfully instead of country I should be ok! And yeah any vehicle failure can leave u days with out not just this trucks failures! As im thankful for the concern but u take risk in anything and if I have to get out and learn it I will for sure do that! But what I won't do is let a pull or a shake scare me! Or stop me from getting behind the wheel? I'm a mother what kind of example would i be setting if I ran from every curve ball or ding or ping life/vehicle gives me? I never had my ass handed to me or spoon fed I was taught u want something u work for it! I wont teach my daughters that its ok to give up or that its ok to think a man should do all the heavy lifting.. Def not going to let them think there spoon fed either. And I will hope they grow up independent and strong and ready for vehicle failures lol I get dirty I have fun I used run with men not ladies! And if I'm lucky enough to get help from a man or women! I was raised with enough since to get out there and get my hands dirty to help them and learn also and if I'm in the way then I go back the house an cook! I'm not one to sit on side lines while someone else plays the game or has the fun! I'm kinda what u call hmmm a tomboy or the girl next door lol Ha Ha I change into many diff things shape shifter ha ha jk lol anyway can't wait for replys! thanks

Odd is another class act I see.

Well since it seems to be getting misinterpreted by a few people I'm going to say that since the OP has a good sense of humor and we've traded jokes before it was supposed to be taken lightly. If the OP didn't see it that way I apologise. It was not my intent to insult and I probably should have used one of these. :D;);)

Unlike some of the commenters I've read this thread from the beginning, several times in fact. It's difficult to follow for a number of reasons. Forums mostly communicate with written words and we can all see how that can go wrong. I'm having a lot of trouble following the multiple problems and what happened when and I think that it would help us help her if the descriptions are clear and organized so we have an understanding of the symptoms and history. Like HRPC said it's not about being the grammar and spelling police, I'm just trying to get some focus because the discussion is very scattered.

And last, if one thinks someone has said something inappropriate there's a lot more appropriate ways of saying that than calling them names.
