Hey all I've got stock, all original - CHEVY SILVERADO V10 I just picked up yesterday. It needs tires. Anyone know - what the biggest tire I can fit on this?

Using the stock wheels?

And do you have a pic?

I'll be updating the shocks - but wanted to keep it stock height for now.

I'll be changing out the heater core tomorrow -

I have some 31x10.5x15s on my '74 C1500, but I've heard of people putting up to 33's with out any rubbing. With 35's, that's where you start trimming the corners of the fenders.

Nice truck by the way.

Welcome from TX.
Looks like you have 31x10.5 on the 15x8 rally wheels.

Looks good to me the way it sits. My 78 k10 has the same setup.

That's the route I would go, personally.

My K5 has 33x12.5's on 8.5" wide wheels and the front fenders needed trimmed. When I eventually install new fenders, I'll either lift it 2.5" or run 32's.

Just lifted my GMC V2500 2" front 1.5" in the rear. I purchased new wheel vintiques stock looking 16x8" wheels. What is the best tire size? I am thinking 285/75/16 is this too wide of a tire? I dont want ballon tires. I want it to look aggressive but nothing too crazy? I have 255/75/16 on my 4" lifted 71. Im torn on what size to put on my square body. Pictures below is of my Square needing tires and my 71 with the 255' tires

I had 285s (about 33 x 11.5) on mine when I got it, and they did rub at full turn. Fortunately they were all worn out so I went with a narrower 33 x 10 and I love them so far. no pics yet, just got them.

8” wide wheel is the prefect width for 285s.
That combo would work good from all aspects.

So you now have 2 kick ass totally awesome trucks! What else are you hiding? Lol
