I'd try McMaster Carr. See if they have turbocharger clamps, They'll be the last ones you'll buy.

What type of clamps are you talking about? Wanting worm gear, crimp clamps, hose clamps, exhaust clamps?

Note: Thread moved from Engine Performance to the Garage under General Discussion.

Try getting stainless “plumbing” household type worm gear clamps. I haven’t had any issues with stripping, I just use a regular screw driver handle nut driver and haven’t had a problem putting all my force into em. We’ve got a farm and fleet store that carries some

yeh it's all good when you clamp down on them and they hold, but then you worry the next time you pull them off and the screw backs out without unclamping it. Worries me too......let alone when they jump when you clamp them in and they jump.

From the 90's back I never saw one that did either (unless totally abused). 'bout **** my britches the first time either happened.

I avoid worm gear clamps if possible, and keep an assortment of Oetiker clamps and a few Gates Powergrip in the garage. They look much better than worm gears and function better, too.
