For what it's worth a wrap of Teflon tape on the threads and some white Teflon pipe dope on the tape then tighten "snuggly" is my procedure. The tape gives resistance to back-out and the pipe dope will cure to stop vibrating out but won't have to be heated to remove. If you do use locktite make sure it's the blue

I actually used this a couple months ago and it works perfectly. It’s good to have in the tool box if you own a 10 bolt. Worth every penny.

Yea I did that once. Did it ruin the driveshaft too?

Nope driveshaft is fine. I was doing about 25mph while on decell for a turn.

I had wheel spin and was in the throttle hard, Drive shaft turned into a candy cane

I think you may need a new one.
I haven't seen one blow up that much in a while.
